Spencer County has gone 8-1 against Jeffersontown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. Spencer County has given up an average of 10.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Spencer County lost 14-8 to Shelby County on Thursday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spencer County got a big performance out of Kaylen Newton, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Hunt, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jeffersontown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Presentation with a sharp 18-2 win last Thursday. Considering the Chargers have won four matches by more than 15 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Spencer County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Jeffersontown, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Everything went Spencer County's way against Jeffersontown in their previous meeting back in April, as Spencer County made off with a 23-8 win. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
