After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Katahdin, Southern Aroostook was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Fort Fairfield Tigers as they made off with a 13-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won five contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Hope Curry, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah McGary, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Southern Aroostook kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Southern Aroostook's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
