Soccer Recap: Southmoore Comes Up Short

Southmoore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Norman Tigers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Southmoore haven't been shut out since back in March.

Southmoore's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Norman, they now have a winning record of 6-5-2.

Coming up, Southmoore will be playing at home against Yukon at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norman, they will face off against Putnam City West at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Putnam City West will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
