Baseball Recap: Westlake Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Westlake and Sterlington squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Westlake had to settle for second. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 25-11. As for Sterlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-7 record this season.

While Westlake had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
