Baseball Game Preview: Ogilvie Lions vs. Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies

The Ogilvie Lions will head out to face off against the Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ogilvie hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

On Tuesday, Ogilvie didn't have quite enough to beat Mora and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia]). Everything went their way against East Central on Tuesday as they made off with a 21-7 win. Considering the Huskies have won six games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Ogilvie, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Ogilvie came out on top in a nail-biter against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 8-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
