Football Game Preview: Juanita Ravens vs. North Creek Jaguars

The Juanita Ravens will square off against the North Creek Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Juanita has given up an average of 28.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Juanita is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Thursday. They were dealt a 41-14 defeat at the hands of Issaquah.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Creek). They took down Highline 46-28 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Jaguars considering their ten-point performance the game before.

North Creek's win came from a few key players Juanita will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kaeden Weaver, who picked up 131 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those 131 receiving yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Payne, who rushed for 158 yards and one TD.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something North Creek proved: they limited Highline to a paltry one yards per carry. The Jaguars didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.7.

North Creek's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Juanita, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.

Juanita was able to grind out a solid victory over North Creek in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 24-17. Do the Ravens have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
