Volleyball Recap: Arianna Baham and Madison Rodriguez Secure Win for Wright

Wright won the last time they faced Shoshoni and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Wranglers by a score of 3-1.

Wright was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 26-24, 20-25, 28-26.

Leading Wright to victory were Madison Rodriguez and Arianna Baham. Rodriguez had 20 digs and seven assists, while Baham had 21 digs and seven aces. Those seven aces gave Baham a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Wright was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are 6-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Wright's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Shoshoni, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wright will host Big Horn at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shoshoni, they will challenge Rocky Mountain at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
