Basketball Game Preview: Mechanicsburg Indians vs. Grandview Heights Bobcats

The Mechanicsburg Indians will face off against the Grandview Heights Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Mechanicsburg is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering West Jefferson just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 54-42 to the Roughriders.

Mechanicsburg's loss came about despite a quality game from Joshua Titus, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave Titus a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Freeze, who put up eight points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Grandview Heights faced off against Bexley on Friday. Grandview Heights received a blow as they fell 43-27 to Bexley. The matchup marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mechanicsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Grandview Heights, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
