Elbert waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Manzanola Bobcats. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Elbert not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Manzanola to exactly 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16.

Elbert's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Manzanola, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Elbert will host Peyton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manzanola, they will head out on the road to challenge Holly at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
