Volleyball Recap: Hayden Anderson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Century over Steeleville

Century saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They fell 2-0 to the Steeleville Warriors.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11.

Several Centurions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hayden Anderson, who had 12 digs. Brycelynn Ledbetter was another key player, getting nine digs.

Leading Steeleville to victory were Madi Yates and Kailey Cathcart. Yates had 12 digs, while Cathcart had seven digs.

Century's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Steeleville, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Century wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Elverado on the 24th. Steeleville has also already played their next matchup (against Trico), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
