Softball Recap: Framingham's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Framingham unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Milton Wildcats, falling 16-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Flyers of the 11-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Avery Palmer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Framingham's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Milton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Framingham will face off against Newton South at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Milton, they will head out to challenge Walpole at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
