Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Southeast couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Hulett Devils on Friday, falling 3-0. The Cyclones' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Southeast's loss came despite strong showings from Taylor Tregemba and Lyla Wernsman. Tregemba had nine digs and one assist, while Wernsman had eight digs.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 23-6. As for Hulett, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Southeast has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Niobrara County on the 1st. Hulett has also already played their next match (against Dubois), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
