Soccer Recap: Smithfield Plays to a Tie

After a string of four wins, Smithfield's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. Neither they nor the New Kent Trojans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept Smithfield happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 22nd.

Their goal came courtesy of Julianna Jones, who's now up to ten this season.

With that draw, Smithfield's record moves to 8-3-1. As for New Kent, they moved theirs to 8-3-2.
