Basketball Game Preview: St. James Sharks vs. Carolina Forest Panthers

St. James hasn't had much luck against Carolina Forest recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The St. James Sharks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Carolina Forest Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

St. James will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Myrtle Beach, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. St. James secured a 38-34 W over Myrtle Beach on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Carolina Forest waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Braves with points to spare, taking the game 37-19.

Carolina Forest pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for St. James, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

St. James skirted past Carolina Forest 28-25 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Does St. James have another victory up their sleeve, or will Carolina Forest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
