Basketball Recap: Lafayette's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Lafayette had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down the West Point Green Wave 54-39 on Tuesday. For the Commodores, this counts as revenge for the 63-53 win the Green Wave walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for West Point, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lafayette will head out to face off against Pontotoc at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Pontotoc's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Lafayette has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for West Point, they will challenge New Hope at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
