Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Central Bulldogs vs. Frontier Falcons

The Clinton Central Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Frontier Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clinton Central has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with 15 straight defeats, while Frontier will come in with five straight wins.

Last Tuesday, Clinton Central came up short against North Montgomery and fell 46-33.

Meanwhile, Frontier hadn't done well against DeMotte Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, Frontier made off with a 50-49 victory over DeMotte Christian.

Clinton Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Frontier, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Clinton Central beat Frontier 51-44 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clinton Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
