Volleyball Game Preview: Boone Braves vs. Timber Creek Wolves

Boone hasn't had much luck against Timber Creek recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Braves will take on the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Boone is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They put the hurt on Colonial with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Braves as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Timber Creek got the win against Lake Nona on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Timber Creek walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-22.

Boone's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Timber Creek, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-1.

Boone came up short against Timber Creek in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Braves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
