Basketball Recap: Bangor Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pen Argyl last Saturday, Bangor came back down to earth. The Bangor Slaters came up short against the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers on Monday, falling 69-43. The Slaters haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Bangor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Northwestern Lehigh, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Bangor and Northwestern Lehigh should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Bangor (ranked 281st) will meet Palisades (ranked 618th) at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Northwestern Lehigh will face off against Kutztown at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday up 465 places (88 vs. 553).
