Volleyball Game Preview: Lewiston Bengals vs. Moscow Bears

The Lewiston Bengals will take on the Moscow Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Lewiston didn't have quite enough to beat Lakeland and fell 3-2. While the Bengals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hawks 25-20 in the first set.

Lewiston took Lakeland into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-18, 25-23, 23-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Moscow made easy work of Sandpoint on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Moscow was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 25-21.

Lewiston's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Moscow, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 13-14.

Lewiston came out on top in a nail-biter against Moscow when the teams last played on Saturday, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Bengals repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
