Baseball Preview: Montevideo Thunderhawks vs. Windom Eagles
The Montevideo Thunderhawks will take on the Windom Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Montevideo comes in on seven and Windom on three.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Montevideo and Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, and Montevideo kept the tradition alive. The Thunderhawks walked away with a 6-3 win over the Tigers on Thursday.

On the hitting side, Isaac Albrecht was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Klaassen, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Luverne typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Windom proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 3-2.
Montevideo's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Windom, their win bumped their record up to 18-5.
