Spartanburg's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Wade Hampton, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Everything went Wade Hampton's way against Spartanburg when the teams last played back in February of 2023, as Wade Hampton made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wade Hampton since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
