Lyons skates past Oak Park-River Forest with ease

The Lyons Lions's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They blew past Oak Park-River Forest, posting a 55-14 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Lyons, who have now won three matches by 38 points or more so far this season.
Lyons pushed their record up to 6-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyons will take on Hinsdale Central at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Oak Park-River Forest will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Downers Grove North at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. Downers Grove North will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
