Soccer Recap: Seventy-First Comes Up Short

Seventy-First lost against Red Springs back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Falcons lost 5-2 to the Red Devils. Seventy-First have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emerson Alvarado wasn't going to let Red Springs walk away unscathed as he scored both of Seventy-First's goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.

Seventy-First's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Red Springs, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seventy-First will host Scotland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Red Springs, they will take on Douglas Byrd at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
