Baseball Recap: Ridge Spring-Monetta Takes a Loss

Ridge Spring-Monetta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Saluda Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in March.

Ridge Spring-Monetta's record is now 1-17. As for Saluda, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Ridge Spring-Monetta will welcome North at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.11 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Saluda, they will head out to face off against Barnwell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
