Basketball Game Preview: Azusa Aztecs vs. Duarte Falcons

Azusa hasn't had much luck against Duarte recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Azusa Aztecs will venture away from home to challenge the Duarte Falcons at 5:30 p.m.

Azusa is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They lost 52-26 to Nogales.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Duarte beat Garey 40-35 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Duarte's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points per game. As for Azusa, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Azusa came up short against Duarte in their previous meeting last Tuesday, falling 33-26. Can Azusa avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
