Volleyball Recap: Bradford Takes a Loss

Bradford lost against Twin Valley South back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Railroaders fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Railroaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bradford took Twin Valley South into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 23-25, 19-25, 15-13.

Hayven Evans paced Bradford's offense, picking up ten kills. Evans got some help from Chloe Hocker and her 30 assists. Hocker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Emilee Zinn had an outrageously good game for Twin Valley South as she had 28 digs. Those 28 digs gave Zinn a new career-high. Alexi Ward also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Bradford's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Twin Valley South, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Bradford will challenge Troy Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Twin Valley South, they will take on Middletown Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
