Pe Ell put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Willapa Valley Vikings with a sharp 53-29 win. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Pe Ell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Karli Phelps led the charge by putting up 13 points and four steals. Phelps is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Maisy King was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Pe Ell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 30 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Willapa Valley still got an impressive performance from Paislee Hurley, who posted seven points in addition to five boards and five blocks. That's the most blocks Hurley has posted since back in December of 2024.

Pe Ell pushed their record up to 20-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Willapa Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Pe Ell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-38 win against Taholah on the 22nd. As for Willapa Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 44-39 victory against Naselle on the 20th.
