Volleyball Game Preview: Marcus Marauders vs. Braswell Bengals

The Marcus Marauders will take on the Braswell Bengals at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Marcus lost 3-0 to Hebron on Tuesday. The Marauders haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-10, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Braswell came up short against Lewisville on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While the Bengals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Farmers 25-18 in the first set.

Braswell started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-14.

Marcus' loss dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Braswell, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-19.

Everything went Marcus' way against Braswell when the teams last played back in September, as Marcus made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Marauders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bengals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
