Baseball Recap: Bentley Has No Trouble Against Hamady

Bentley's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Hamady Hawks with a sharp 10-0 victory. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 7.1 runs per game.

Bentley got a massive performance out of Hunter Trottier, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits Trottier has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Workman, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI.

Bentley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .692. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bentley's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Hamady, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Bentley will face off against Mt. Morris at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hamady, they will challenge Genesee at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
