Baseball Recap: Tunkhannock Comes Up Short

Tunkhannock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-5 to the Hanover Area Hawkeyes.

Josiah Parr was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Hunter Gilroy, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Tunkhannock's record is now 0-11. As for Hanover Area, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tunkhannock will challenge Wyoming Area at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
