Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Gianna Offutt and Sylvia Johnson Lead Hays to Victory

Hays posted their closest win since September 25th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Louisburg Wildcats 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Hays got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 15-25, 25-13.

Hays was led to victory by Sylvia Johnson and Gianna Offutt. Johnson had 15 assists and four digs, while Offutt had five digs and two aces.

Hays' victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Louisburg, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 17-9.

Coincidentally, Hays and Louisburg will both be playing Perry-Lecompton the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Kaws at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
