Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was the 67-61 winner over Fort Hamilton when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Roosevelt Cougars took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Hamilton Tigers on Tuesday.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Fort Hamilton, they moved to 5-9 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Roosevelt will be playing in front of their home fans against Tilden at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roosevelt is facing Tilden at the right time seeing as Tilden is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. Fort Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
