Enterprise's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past West Valley 36-0 at home. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Eagles are ranked 649th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jj Johnson had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 203 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. That's the most total yards he has posted since back in October of 2023. Koby Johnson also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Enterprise was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 532 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Valley only gained -27.

Meanwhile, Lassen came up short against Red Bluff on Friday and fell 48-40. The Grizzlies haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Lassen had strong showings from Dathen Moore, who rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and Dowan Stephens, who rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Moore was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards.

The win made it two in a row for Enterprise and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Lassen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
