On Friday Aliso Niguel will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to take on the Fountain Valley Barons at 7:00 p.m. Aliso Niguel will be strutting in after a win while Fountain Valley will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Aliso Niguel didn't have too much trouble with Orange as they won 30-14.

Jarett Sabol was his usual excellent self, rushing for 170 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Aliso Niguel: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Aliso Niguel was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 203 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orange only rushed for 98.

Aliso Niguel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carson Etnire and Max Blasing. Etnire also set a new season high mark in total tackles with four.

Meanwhile, Fountain Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 21-14 to Northwood.

Luke Taylor put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 133 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 63 yards.

Aliso Niguel's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Fountain Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Aliso Niguel couldn't quite finish off Fountain Valley in their previous matchup back in September of 2022 and fell 16-14. Can Aliso Niguel avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
