Sequatchie County won the last time they faced Signal Mountain and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Amelia Casey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Hannah Milligan was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Lexie Hall was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Sequatchie County's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Signal Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3-1.

Coming up, Sequatchie County will square off against Grundy County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Signal Mountain, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brainerd at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th.
