Marist got themselves on the board against Clarkston on Friday, but Clarkston never followed suit. They took their game with ease, bagging a 44-0 win over the Angoras. Considering the War Eagles have won five matchups by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

James Lasco had another great game (as he tends to do), punching in one rushing score, while also throwing for 88 yards and one touchdown. Hayes Rollauer also deserves some recognition as he punched in his first rushing touchdown of the season.

Marist's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Clarkston, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Marist is set to face off against their familiar foe Lithonia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the War Eagles 8.1, the Bulldogs 9.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Clarkston will challenge rival Druid Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
