If Kimberly wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Highland, they should've done a better job of containing Jaycie Homer. The Rams narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bulldogs 3-2 with plenty of help from Homer, who had 11 digs and four aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to hitting percentage, as she's posted one of at least 100% in the last six games she's played.

Highland's victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Highland and Kimberly will both be playing Wood River the next time they take the court. The Rams will head out to face the Wolverines at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
