Baseball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia lost to Timberline back in May of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves.

Marcus DeLeon was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Timberline, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Columbia will head out to take on Middleton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Timberline, they will venture away from home to face off against Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
