Football Game Preview: Auburndale Bloodhounds vs. Wildwood Wildcats + How To Watch

The Auburndale Bloodhounds will take on the Wildwood Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Auburndale has three straight wins, Wildwood has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Auburndale beats Wildwood with 42 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Bloodhounds didn't even let Lake Region on the board on Friday, marking the Bloodhounds' second-straight 42-0 shutout. The Bloodhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Wildwood was beaten by Paxon School For Advanced Studies 52-25 on Friday.

Auburndale will have to keep a close watch on Jeremiah Corbin and Cameren Solis, a pair of players who had a big impact on Wildwood's prior game. Corbin picked up 148 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Solis picked up 75 receiving yards and one TD. Corbin didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles and defended three passes.

Auburndale's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Wildwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
