Preview: Triumph Charter Jaguars vs. Wilson Mules
The Triumph Charter Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Wilson Mules at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Triumph Charter has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 321 points over their last four matchups.
With a playoff game on the line, Triumph Charter rose to the challenge on Friday. They strolled past the Huskies with points to spare, taking the game 59-43.
Triumph Charter found their leader in underclassman Antonio Garcia III, who scored 30 points. Garcia III hasn't dropped below 21 points for four straight games.
Meanwhile, Wilson didn't have too much trouble with WISH Academy at home on Friday as they won 68-54. The win was just what Wilson needed coming off of a 78-35 defeat in their prior match.
Diego Burgara was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with six rebounds and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was David Santiago, who scored five points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Triumph Charter pushed their record up to 24-4 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Wilson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Triumph Charter hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 68.7 points per game. However, it's not like Wilson struggles in that department as they've been averaging 65.4 points per game.
