City Baptist School came into Friday's contest looking for another win against HomeSchool Resource Center, but Noel Green wouldn't allow it. The HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots enjoyed a cozy 45-27 victory over the City Baptist School Overcomers on Friday thanks in part to Green, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage (88%).

HomeSchool Resource Center's win bumped their record up to 11-19. As for City Baptist School, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.

The future could be bright for both HomeSchool Resource Center and City Baptist School: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. HomeSchool Resource Center will try to hand Portage Christian their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, City Baptist School will look to extend Hebron Christian Academy's three-game losing streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
