Baseball Game Preview: Bledsoe County Warriors vs. Rockwood Tigers

The Bledsoe County Warriors will head out to face off against the Rockwood Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Bledsoe County and 17 for Rockwood dating back to last season.

Bledsoe County fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Marion County on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Marion County by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Rockwood's offense. They came up short against Eagleton College & Career Academy on Wednesday, falling 15-0.

Bledsoe County's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Rockwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Bledsoe County took their victory against Rockwood in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 19-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
