Volleyball Recap: Springfield Southeast Spartans vs. Nokomis Redskins
Springfield Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nokomis Redskins.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17.
Kallie Padget paced Springfield Southeast's offense, picking up nine kills. Padget got some help from
Parker Maxey and her 19 assists.
Springfield Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 8-22. As for Nokomis, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 29-3.
Springfield Southeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Delavan on the 26th. Nokomis has also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Mendon Unity on the 26th.
