The Berkner Rams will challenge the Bowie Volunteers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Berkner hadn't beaten Pearce on the road since October 7, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Rams claimed a resounding 49-21 victory over the Mustangs. The Rams pushed the score to 35-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs had little chance of recovering from.

Berkner's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Kaiden Carter refused to say out of the backfield, picking up two sacks all by himself. Berkner received some extra help from Mehki Jessie, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Meanwhile, Bowie came tearing into Thursday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points), and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged out the Warriors 24-21.

Berkner better keep an eye on Jayden Bibbs. He was instrumental in Bowie's win, throwing for 252 yards and three TDs while completing 76.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 63 yards on only eight carries. A healthy portion of Bibbs' aerial production (113 yards to be exact) went to Keidric Osunde-Brown.

Bowie didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kyle Smith and Princeton Campbell. Bowie got some further help from Bryson Castile: he picked up 0.5 sacks and made 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
