Basketball Recap: Empire Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Empire Ravens were beaten by the Florence Gophers 56-14 on Tuesday. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Florence got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chryslyn Noel out in front who shot 41% from the field on her way to 16 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elena Licon, who went 6-for-10 en route to 14 points and seven steals.

Empire's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Empire will be taking part in a tournament against San Tan Charter at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Florence, they will be playing at home against Cienega at 10:40 a.m. on Friday.
