Nettleton has gone a perfect 10-0 against West Memphis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Raiders will head out to face off against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Nettleton is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Buffalo Island Central by a score of 13-8 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.
Kennedy Massey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on 11 hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Nettleton let Karter Massey and Arleth Huantes run wild. Massey went 1-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Huantes went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave Massey a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Sample, who earned two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, West Memphis beat Newport 7-3 on Thursday.
West Memphis also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Hailey Choate gave up only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, Mackenzie Halford and Margo Killingsworth did most of the damage at the plate: Halford went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs, while Killingsworth went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Adrian Haralson, who went 1-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.
Nettleton's record is now 4-17. As for West Memphis, their record now sits at 6-17.
Nettleton got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against West Memphis by a conclusive 17-0 score. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
