South Yosemite - Mountain Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's  football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Josh Encinas Dazzles in South Victory
 Starting off the list is South's  Josh Encinas, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Encinas threw for 188 yards and two touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
 The  win (which was South's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Encinas and South will stay at home for another  week and welcome Mira Monte at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

  Andrew Aguirre was a major factor in Tehachapi's  victory over North on Friday. Aguirre turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 35 yards and a touchdown.
 Tehachapi's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 5-2. They and West are set to duel  on Friday.

Hasley Posts Huge Game in  34-14  Win
 South picked up their fifth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Gyrell Hasley. Nobody could stop  Hasley as he picked up 43 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
 On the season,  Hasley  has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 56.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he had four  receiving touchdowns.

Kaidon Hagerty Makes It Two for Tehachapi
 The second Tehachapi player making an appearance here is  Kaidon Hagerty, and for good reason. He rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  picking up  a  sack, forcing a fumble,  and making four total tackles.
 For the year,  Hagerty  has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 22.6 rushing yards per game.

A Constellation of Stars for South
 Another South player making an appearance on this list is  Marvin Parra. He made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 Unfortunately for East Bakersfield, this isn't the first big game they've seen from  Parra. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Parra saw the Blades), he picked up  a  sack and made 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
