Softball Recap: Hamilton County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Saint Francis Catholic last Tuesday, Hamilton County came back down to earth. The Hamilton County Trojans lost 14-3 to the Suwannee Bulldogs on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 5-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Hamilton County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ralynn Moody, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Hamilton County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Suwannee, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coincidentally, Hamilton County and Suwannee will both be playing Lafayette the next time they take the field. Hamilton County will host Lafayette at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Suwannee will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
