Evergreen found a leader in Haley Hastings as the squad took down Wheat Ridge on Friday. Hastings made four total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended two passes in addition to snagging three interceptions which she returned one-yard for a touchdown, which was good enough to set a new career-high in interceptions.

Hastings' strong effort led Evergreen over Wheat Ridge and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
