Basketball Recap: Bethlehem Christian Academy Victorious

With a playoff win on the line, Bethlehem Christian Academy rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the George Walton Academy Bulldogs by a score of 49-37. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 58-41 victory back in January.

Bethlehem Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Andrew DeLorenzo, who went 6 for 14 en route to 15 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave DeLorenzo a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Odom, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Bethlehem Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for George Walton Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

Coming up, Bethlehem Christian Academy will head out to square off against Lakeview Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeview Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 matchups -- so hopefully Bethlehem Christian Academy likes a good challenge. George Walton Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
